Before lunch I told Addy that she needed to pick up her toys in the living room. While fixing our meal I heard "clack, clunk, ker-plunk" so I thought she was picking them up...
Well as it turns out she was... BUT she was simply tossing them on her bedroom floor.
So nap time rolls around and we get ready to put her to bed and I stumble over toys scattered all over the floor. I looked down at her and said "Addy! I thought I told you to put your toys away!?" She looked up at me and shook her booty as she bluntly, boldly, snootily and with so much conviction, said "BUT I don't wanna pick up my toys right now!!!" and climbed into bed. It took EVERYTHING I had not to bust out laughing hysterically!
I just tucked her into bed... mama needs a nap!
