I need YOUR help! PLEASE! You won’t be disappointed!!!

Current mood: artistic
Ok, so here's the scoop!

I am starting two online businesses and I need YOUR help! Please!

The first one is called: curley suzie's confections and can be found here: curley suzie's confections
I will be selling the candies that I have been making for well over a decade now. I would make these every Christmas and some other holidays and special occasions as well and everyone always said how I should sell them because they are sooooo good! Well it's time for YOU to be the judge!

I have to create an example of each item in order to take a picture of it to list it online. That's where I need YOUR sweet tooth to step up to the plate!

I will be listing these example items on MySpace for YOU to 'bid' on! I will start the 'auction' at the ACTUAL cost of the products, no extra for the hard work I put into them. Once you win the 'auction' I will ship it out to you with a report card. Then you, your friends and family 'grade' the candies on taste, appearance and the cost that you think someone should pay for it.

All you do is send me an email on MySpace as to what your high bid is and whomever has the high bid at the end of the week- wins the item(s)! EASY AS PIE! CHOCOLATE!

Can I count on you!??

The second one is called: curley suzie's crafts and can be found here: curley suzie's crafts
All I need here is for you to please take a look and tell your friends and family to get the word out. I specialize in custom order, handcrafted, hand painted, wall-hanging letters; perfect for a nursery, address numbers, welcome signs, among other crafts. I will be listing them as I create them- so the website will be updated frequently.

As always- I also have my eBay account that I am frequently putting up- mostly gently used children's items on: Addison's Auctions

Thanks for your help everyone!!!!!!

COMMENTS:
Don't laugh at me but how do I bid to win... Also I hope you're OK, I prayed for you yesterday morning. Also I have been meaning to ask you if that truth box thingy really works, I have been thinking of putting one on my page for shits and giggles.

As far as the candies all you have to do is send me a message, the easiest way is to reply to the bulletin post, and submit the high dollar amount you’d be willing to pay for the item. At the end of the week whoever has the high bid on the items win them. I can take PayPal payments, money orders, checks.. I will ship the candies out free of charge with a report card for you to answer- which you can just send me an email with the answers.

how do we know when or if our bid is winning or if we need to go higher??!

I'll be updating the blog posts, with the current bid, as I get new bids. Wendi had a good idea to just bid on the blog as a comment (she did it on the thin mints). That would probably work best rather than emails I guess.I am just figuring all this out, never done this before, obviously lol. Thanks for bearing with me and thanks again for the bids. If you don't win the high bid on an item I can still make a batch for you. I am footing the shipping bill on the high bid items. But if you don't win an item I will still sell it to you for your high bid and you pay shipping. ~wink wink!~ sound good?

My Health

I went to the doctor today to follow up, again, about my health conditions and my upcoming gallbladder removal surgery.
I went yesterday to my surgeon and he insisted that I see my primary doctor (pcp) for clearance before he will perform surgery.
Which do you want first? The good news or the bad news?
I guess I'll end it on a happy note and start with the bad.
While I was in the hospital after which turned out to be a gallbladder attack early Wednesday morning I found out that I had:
- "sludge and stones" in my gallbladder, as well it was "thickened"
- a "swollen bladder"
and
- an "abnormal EKG"

During today's visit with my pcp I found that the abnormal EKG showed signs of:
- a "First degree AV block"

I was also informed that my blood work that my surgeons office drew on 09/09/08 showed that I am:
- B1/Thiamine "deficient"
and am at risk for:
- Beriberi
and
- Wernicke-Korsakoff syndrome
diseases

As well as:
- Congestive Heart Failure (which my mom probably passed away from November 13, 2006.) I say probably because she passed away in her sleep and were convinced to not bother doing an autopsy- they just blamed her many diseases.

So now I:
- have to take Thiamine injections for two weeks and see if that helps that problem.

I have an appointment to have, yet another, Dobutamine Stress Test with a cardiologist Monday to ensure that I am safe for gallbladder removal surgery Friday the 14th.

The swollen bladder will be addressed when I go in for my yearly in a couple weeks.
I am hoping that that is nothing and also that my pap comes back normal and that my fertility is in good standing.

The good news is:
- I am still off my medications for:
Diabetes
High Blood Pressure
High Cholesterol
Acid Reflux
Arthritis
Anxiety/ Depression

And the best news of all!!!:
- my A1C (an average of blood sugars over a course of 3 months or so) is:

5.5!!!!!!!!!
which means my average is 100.
A diabetic is considered someone whose random blood sugar is over 200 and/or fasting plasma glucose level at or above 126.

The doctor considered still treating my diabetes because it is still considered borderline diabetic- but since I am still rapidly losing weight my sugars are just going to get better and better—until I am no longer ever going to be considered even close to a diabetic!

That's all folks!

Have a great weekend y'all!
