Blessing and Exchange of Rings
“The ring is in the shape of a circle, without a beginning or end, symbolizing the complete and continuous love which binds the two of you together. I want you to wear these rings as a reminder of your love and commitment you have made to each other today.May the Lord God bless these rings; symbols of your marriage.”
“Doug take this ring and place it upon Mary’s finger and say to her:”“Mary- with this ring I thee wed. I give you this ring, as a symbol of our marriage, for today and tomorrow, and for all the days to come. Wear it as a sign of what we have promised and done this day.”
“Mary take this ring and place it upon Doug’s finger and say to him:”“Doug- with this ring I thee wed. I give you this ring, as a symbol of our marriage, for today and tomorrow, and for all the days to come. Wear it as a sign of what we have promised and done this day.”

This Day Has Finally Arrived
This day has finally arrived, our wedding day at last,
We've dreamed about this day and it's going just so fast,
But I've never felt so happy, you are the person just for me,
It’s you I'll love forever, in my heart you'll always be.
For with you I pledge eternity, for with you I'll spend my life,
For today and for always, we will be husband and wife,
I'll let nothing come between us, my promise is so true,

I Dream Of a Day
I Dream Of a Day
When I was a little girl, I always dreamt of this day,
I knew the words by heart; I knew exactly what I would say.
I imagined my dad, walking me down the aisle,
I could see the look on his face; I could see the pride in his smile.
But life doesn't always go as planned; I guess that's plain to see,
some things just happen, some things aren’t meant to be.
But this is to be a happy day; I would like to share some thoughts,
I want to tell you about my mom, the most important person in my life.
My mother has been my inspiration; she has guided me throughout my life,
there are a few words that I need to say, especially now that I'm a wife.
She’s always been there for me, especially when I needed her the most, If it wasn’t for her, I wouldn’t be walking by her side today.
Today I felt my dad there with us; I could feel him looking on,
I could feel his love for all of us, so caring and so kind.
He wants us all to be happy; I know this from deep within,
he knows he will love us forever, he knows that we’ll never truly part.
This being my everlasting wish, that Doug and I too,
have such a wonderful marriage, and that I'm loved as much as dad loved mom.
Today, my dad’s spirit was with me, he did indeed walk me down that aisle,
I pictured the look upon his face; it was a very, very proud smile.

You’ve made me realize what love truly is

I could never imagine a day without you here with me
I couldn’t write a better script to our love story
I thought something this special could never come to be
For all the years I’ve waited, I’m so thankful to have you
I can’t wait for the day when you become my groom
