The Diary of a Mercenary

The Diary of a Mercenary

11/13/95
Today I woke up around 9:30 am, took a long relaxing hot shower, and prepared for my wonderful day ahead. I began to get dressed when I looked at my image in the mirror, and decided that this would be the day for a radical change. This time, not just a hair cut or shave the mustache, or decide to grow a beard. This time I was going to go all out and change my whole person, today I was going to become a woman. I carefully detailed myself, pondering the many beautiful ideas of what all I could do to myself. I quickly threw on a old sweat suit and took off to by the many needing articles of clothing, makeup, and hair that was desired. I returned to my dark apartment after two hours of shopping. I started by shaving my chest, then my legs, wow I never knew how much hair I actually had. My hair was rather long already, but I needed more. So I decided to shave that also. I shaved my face, and began to cover my bad complexion of a face with the mask of a woman. I threw on the dress that I had purchased on my trip, and tossed on my dark auburn wig. And away I went. I started at the park a few blocks away, I sat myself on the park bench and just looked at people as they walked by, and was intrigued by the face reactions that I received. Although I think in my mind that they knew me as being pretty I also looked innocent. How could someone like me hurt even I fly, but deep down inside I had uncontrollable anger towards everyone around me, no one cared for me, everyone I had ever known had deserted me for one reason or another. I am alone, with no where to go, and my only goal in life is to get back at everyone, even if they weren't the one who hurt me, they have hurt someone, sometime, in their life. So as I was watching all the people pass me by, ideas were racing through my head, all the ways I could torture this person, and all the ways I could mutilate that one. "Oh here comes my dream," I thought to myself "the one I always been awaiting since I could first remember."

For the last couple of days I have been playing my role as a woman, and I have enjoyed every minute of it. All these victims just flocking around, this is it today is my day.., I'm gonna do it....

11/19/95
Tonight I made my first step in my goal, I made my first kill today, and it was grand. This time I stood upon the street corner, attracting men from miles around, this time, not only playing the role of a woman, but also as a prostitute. The man I chose was the dirtiest looking, scumbag I feast my eyes upon. I lured him into a hotel a few blocks away, took him to the room, ripped off my wig, and begun to attack him in the most violent manner I could possible think of. First I taped his mouth shut, then I tied him up to the bedpost I started to rape him, with every thrust of my body, I took a swing at his head with my clenched fist. Beating it back and forth, thus aroused more anger. I took out my small pocketknife and began to rip his chest apart, as a grand finale after a hole was gouged open in his chest I took my hand and ripped out his still beating heart. And left his poor worthless body there to rot. I soon cleaned myself up, and took off for home, that is, with my first kill memento, his heart.

The Woods

The Woods

It was three weeks before Becky's 23rd birthday. Becky and her sister Andrea were making their way through Bloomingdale’s Department Store. In hopes of finding the perfect outfit to wear to her mom's the Saturday after next. Her parent's had planned a big party for her birthday and invited a few other family members and close friends. So the outfit had to be just right. As she was walking around one of a many cloths' racks, she spotted a lovely dress. So she held it up to her to see what it might look like. She then turned around to her sister to show her what she thought of it. Andrea was nowhere to be seen. But the person she did see was, a man, dressed in a navy blue suit, a bright white dress shirt, shinny black loafers, and a very dark maroon tie to top it off, which also accented the dark tone of his skin. As her eyes met with his see became to feel very faint. She felt flustered, she felt if as though the world had stopped around her, including her mind, except for him. He was rapidly approaching her. Her legs began to feel like rubber, as though at any second she was going to become one with the floor. Her hands got very tense, her palms sweaty, when all of a sudden she lost her tight grasp with her dress and it went tumbling down to the ground like a pile of bricks. The loud clank of the hanger hitting the ground, arouse even more attention of the tall, dark, handsome someone coming her way. He abruptly came to her, bent down and picked up the dress as she was; they picked it up together, stood up together, and looked into each other's eyes. She was daydreaming of the perfect kiss. Then she finally snapped back into reality. She looked up at him as he looked down at her, then she laid her eyes upon the floor in humiliation. He said "Maim, is there a problem, can I help you?" She was so embarrassed, she looked up at him and giggled, "No, no problem here," and stated that she was just a little disturbed that day. He asked if there was anything he could do for her, help her with something and such. The one thing that really intrigued her was the desire in his Southern accentuation, the longer he spoke to her, the more she started to daydream into his mysterious hazel eyes. All she could do was, grin and walk away.

The next time she saw him was again at the mall, this time he was eating at the food court. She tried just to walk on past him. But as she was walking by, he stopped her. He asked her if everything had worked out with the dress. He then introduced himself as "Chuck Howard" Which in all, started a conversation between the two of them. He then proceeded to offer her a seat at his table. The two of them hit it off really well. By the end of the conversation the two of them had made plans to go out for dinner the following evening. She was very stunned by his offer, but in turn replied with a satisfied "yes." He then thanked her for their wonderful chance to reunite. He smiled, and said "I will be looking forward to seeing you again tomorrow evening." She stood up, and replied, "Although I would like to chat more, unfortunately I." He abruptly stopped her train of thought, as he stood up, took her hand and said, "Until we meet again, and gave her a delicate kiss on the top of her hand. She smiled and slowly walked away.
The next day she had arrived at work. She approached her office opened the door and the first thing she saw was a large bouquet of flowers sitting upon her desk, with a small note attached that said "I can't wait to see you, XOXO. She quickly came to the conclusion that the flowers had come from Chuck; but why and how? How did he know where she worked? This question kept her mind pondering through the day. She was relieved from work at five o'clock. She went home, took a quick shower and got ready for her date with Chuck.

No more than she had gotten out of the shower, the doorbell rang. She quickly put on a robe, and threw her hair up in a towel. She ran downstairs to answer the door. It was him, all dressed up. She was thankful that she hadn't gotten dressed yet. She probably would have thrown some ugly, dingy pair of jeans and a flannel on. Now she was forced to dress nice. She offered him to come in and wait till she was ready. He accepted. She then offered him something to drink while he was waiting. So she went to the kitchen, fixed a glass of lemonade, and sat him in the dining room. She quickly ran upstairs and finished getting ready. She put on some old dress that she bought for her sisters wedding two years ago, surprised it still fit. She dried her hair and threw it up into a French twist, put on some gold earnings that she had gotten last week at her trip to the mall. Put on a tad of make-up, and off they went. They had made their way outside, and the first thing she saw was his car, "Cherry-Bomb" red sports convertible. All she could think is "damn, this man must be loaded." But she didn't say a thing. She got into the car and took off. She had no idea where they were going, nor did she ask.

They finally arrived. She had no idea where she was, he had put a blindfold around her eyes about half way through their excursion. He got out of the car, walked over to her side, and helped her out. He stopped her and let go of her hand, went to the back of the car and grabbed something. Her again took her by the hand and led her through what she suspected to be woods; all she could hear was the crisping of the leaves, and the crackling of the twigs. He stopped, turned her towards himself, and slipped off her blindfold. She was in amazement, she looked around herself. She was set in the most romantic setting she had ever seen, even more so than the movies. She looked up to him, and smiled, she was speechless, and she had no idea what to even say. He said "here" and pointed down to the ground, where he had lied down a flannel blanket, with wine, candles, and a picnic basket. The two of them sat down and started a conversation. They had gotten to know each other well. He began to feed her, grapes, apple slices, pieces of chocolate.. They spent the whole beautiful evening there, under the stars, until it started to get too cold. He offered her his coat, the two of them walked back to the car. She thought they were going to leave, but he bypassed the car. She decided to follow him, unaware of where they were going.

They soon arrived, it was a cabin set deep in the dark woods of the forest. She was hesitant to go in, but she did. By the time she had made it in, he was already in the family room. He had started a fire. He had gotten up, came to the door, took off her coat, and led her to the family room. He went to the linen closet grabbed a few blankets, and took them back. He lied them down on the floor in front of the fire, and offered her a seat. The two of them sat around talking into all hours of the night. She felt herself falling for him, not only physically, but also emotionally. Becky was 23, but yet a virgin, she had waited her whole life to find the right person. This blissful night she thought he was it. The two of them, had begun to kiss, which led to fondling, before she knew it she was in his arms; fulfilling the passion that she had long awaited for. She felt as though she was finally being loved, finally being cared about.

Now, unaware of his intentions she committed herself to him. Just then he started to become very forceful, aggressive, and mean. She started to scream out. He began to slap her telling her to shut up. He covered her mouth, so she could no longer scream. She tried with all her might, she couldn't do anything but lie there in pain. She couldn't take it anymore, she tried to kiss him, to try and let him know that she was not afraid. When he bent down to kiss her, she bit him.
Just then he then took her head in the palm of his hands and snapped her neck. She was automatically killed. He then took her nude corpse, and put it into a trash bag. Little did she know, they had made a circle in the woods, the car was right behind the cabin. He took the body, threw it in the trunk of the car, and took off. He drove up to an old factory, and threw her body into the outside dumpster. Chuck was never heard from again.

He picked her up at work, with a dozen white roses in his hand; the two gave each other a hug hello. They walked back to the car he took a hold of her hands and gently helped her into the car. Vic got into the car, told her to close her eyes; meanwhile he slipped a blindfold over her eyes. The two of them drove for which seemed like eternity. They didn't speak anymore than a few sentences the whole way. There was no conversation because Michelle's mind was endlessly wondering, pondering all the possible situations he had in store for them. "Besides," she thought to herself. "We've only known each other for a couple weeks, how could he possibly surprise me with something I will like." But the question that she pondered for the longest time was "why, why is he doing this." I tried to figure out where we were but I lost track about three miles back.
The car started to slow down; by the sounds of it we were on a dirt road, slowing down even more, now a swift turn to the right. Soon after, the car halted, the ignition turned off. I just sat there scared stiff, but very anxious to see what was about to occur. She wanted to peek but thought that if he was going to all this trouble she should let it be a surprise.
The car door slammed, he then walked around to the back, and got something out of the trunk. After that he walked around to my side of the car, took a hold of my hand to help me out. From there we walked a couple of minutes on gravel and a minute or two on something soft, which must have been grass. The excitements arouse more and more every step I took. Just then he, again, took a hold of my hands and gently set me down on the ground.

My Friend

My Friend

Fear not,
Sweet love
The hands,
Of time
Fate runs,
It's course
And plays,
With minds
If love was good,
And battles fought
One wins it all,
And loses naught

TO THE FINAL END...

Goodbye,
Sweetheart
Farewell,
My friend

Friends are always there for you
When you need a pal

Friends are always there for you
When you need to talk

Friends are always there for you
When you want to laugh

Friends are always there for you
When you need to cry

I wish you were there”

How Much You Mean To Me

How Much You Mean To Me

You gave me a rose
Said you liked me so
I liked you though
Didn’t want you to know
Now you’re back with her
That’s where you say you’ll stay
I have no words to say
How much you mean to me

I just wanted you to know
In my heart you’ll lay low
In my mind
I’ll always find
A picture of us
How you meant so much
I loved to hear you sing
Your voice will always ring
Hold true how much I care
Cause the words I cannot bear
I couldn’t say it before
Cause you slammed the door

The touch of you so soft
Now I feel what I have lost
The smell of you in the air
I can’t believe it, it’s just not fair
I miss you so much
The way we used to touch
When our lips did meet
Your kiss was, oh, so sweet

We will never be the same
Remember we are both to blame
The rose I will keep
But forever I shall weep
You told me not to
Cheat, play or lie
But as far as I can see,
This is goodbye

I tried to believe
That you’d never leave
I can’t hide the way I feel
My love for you was real
With these words I can express
If only I had loved you less
I wouldn’t feel the way I do
If I hadn’t fallen in love with you
I just wanted you to know
How much you mean to me

It’s All Over!

It’s All Over!

It was late summer afternoon little did I know the terror that I just endured. When I first woke up I wasn't sure who I was, where I was or why I was there. But soon fragments of memory drifted back into my mind. Now these are the days I will never forget. As I try to remember it all, only bits and pieces appear. But soon I will remember it all, I'm just not sure if I want to.

The first thing that I entered my mind besides the dozens of mixed up memories was when it happened. It was almost dawn and I was driving down an old country road on my way into town to pick up some groceries. I was on my way around a bend in the road, when my tire blew. So I grabbed a flashlight and popped the trunk grabbed the jack and tried to fix it but ‘little me’ didn't know the first thing about changing a tire. So at that point I grabbed my coat and my purse and took off for the walk the rest of the way into town to call back home and tell Chris what happened.

Some of the events that I recall occurring were my head being hit a lot and just lying there, I knew that there was nothing that I could do but play dead. I never saw a face, for a while I believe I must have been blindfolded. I tried to make him stop; I felt my head was just going to explode. I thought to myself, 'why me, why is this happening to me?' Just at that moment I lost control, I could start to feel my body slowly slipping away. When all of a sudden I felt every spirit was being lifted from my body, I was slowly feeling lighter and lighter. If this is what death feels like, I kind of enjoy it. But then everybody I'd ever known started drifting through my mind, all the memories , good and bad times and especially Chris, my fiancée'. When 'snap' I started to feel my body again. I slightly opened my eyes, and no one appeared in over me. I lied there for a few minutes trying to catch my breath.

The next thing I knew I was lying here in this hospital bed, of course with Chris by my side. At my supposed moment of death I knew I could survive with the love of my friends, family, and Chris. I haven't told anyone about everything, maybe when the time is right, but then again, I don't remember it all myself and I’m not sure if I'd want to. I believe “live for the tomorrow, yesterday is gone."

First Cabbage Patch Kid

The year was 1986; I was the only kid in my class who didn't have a CPK. That was probably one of the saddest moments of my childhood. I remember everyone going around at recess hanging on to their Kid, and I was there with empty arms, waiting... Christmas passed, and I still didn't get one. Easter passed, still no CPK. I was depressed. I would never get my own CPK. But, for my 8th birthday in 1987, I would wait no more. I had opened all my gifts but one. It didn't look promising. I would have to wait another few months before another present chance came along. But there was my mom, sitting smug in her chair as she handed me this long box. The looks were deceiving... It didn't have the shape of a regular CPK box (the see-thru kind) so I assumed it was not what I wanted. I tore away at the paper, and discovered it was really her! I opened the box, and inside was Katherine Marie. She had red curls and blue eyes. She has been there for me since then, dragged everywhere, and cried on. She's wonderful and I would never give her up for anything!
