Friday evening we took Addy to get her professional pictures done. I really love how they turned out. She has become such a 'çheeser' lately that we cannot have her say "cheese" or her entire face will be consumed with her contagious smile! hehehe!

I loved being able to include Alex in this years picture :)
Saturday late morning I went to a mom 2 mom sale and managed to snag quite a few great items for $20! I got Addy a Barney costume for next Halloween, a Barney doll, a Princess CD/book and got Alex several clothing items.
Prior to shopping and afterwards I spent a lot of time cleaning and organizing the house. I feel like I am in that nesting phase :)
Later in the evening I spent some time pampering myself and my babies. I trimmed and painted Addy's nails, mine and gave Doug a mini pedicure.
Afterwards we put Addy's tent up and played for a bit.
Havin' a BLAST!
This is SO much fun daddy! You should come in here and play with us!!
After Addy went to bed Doug and I watched a movie - 'Four Christmases'. It was okay - nothing great though.
Sunday was great too. I spent more time cleaning and organizing in the morning. Afterwards we went shopping and took Addy to see Santa Clause. I was thinking that maybe, just maybe she was ready to sit on his lap and give us a smile since we have been talking about him so much and she seemed so excited; no such luck though. She saw him and cried but after a couple moments freed herself from me and did sit on his lap. Didn't get any smiles but maybe a time or two more and we might...
She actually walked to him on her own. After she saw mommy shake his hand she knew it was okay.
Pretty scared...
"Okay... this isn't so bad..."
"... but I'm still not gonna smile..."
"Mommy - I did it, I'm up here, what more do you want!?"
When we got home I started dinner in the crock pot and we all took naps. When we got up we had chili and cornbread cakes and watched some TV. After dinner Addy and I finished decorating the Christmas tree.
I thought she would he more interested in putting the ornaments on the tree... but she seemed to have more fun throwing icicles (tinsel) around!
I finished off the evening wrapping presents.
I am really looking forward to Christmas!
This is such a special time of year :)
Our stockings: Dad, Mom, Addison, Alexander and our special "Jesus Stocking"
On Christmas Eve after we bake gingerbread cookies for Santa we sit down and write a list of all of the things that we are thankful for. We put it into the stocking and read them to one another first thing Christmas morning.
